AVE YOU JOINED HERPY YET? I know I shove that place down your collective throat all too often, but it really is a nice little niche of some great people. I've been their unofficial PR guy for a while now only because Herpy really helped me deal with my own inner demons once and for all when I was settling down into my lifestyle. Herpy is a community that perpetuates itself on gratitude; the logo of their site was designed by artist DOPR as an expression of his gratitude that they were hosting his work for him.

could only offer to do the same as my most sincere "thank you" to them. The logo I drew up was based upon the one DOPR created and not much changed in terms of color and what the letters spelled out, but I changed the snake to a slightly peeved looking green tree python, as seen in my older work Snake & A Gator. Due to a lack of vectorization, this logo isn't in use on Herpy and DOPR's is still up there, but it wasn't really about that for me - it was all about showing my appreciation.

his also happened to be my very first creation in 2008, as I had taken a break from drawing to try my luck at writing with pleasing results.
