anzer The Ice Dragon (1982 - 2002) was a close friend of mine when I had first started getting into this whole "I like dragons more than the guy sitting next to me does" thing. He was a troubled person and one fateful night he made a couple bad choices, and as a result of those actions he is no longer with us unfortunately.

s years went by I largely kind of kept quiet about him and with the liquidity of websites in general the vast majority of his work is no longer online. Unfortunately the best source for backups of his work, a diskette that was in my possession, is currently missing in action and likely inside one of my many boxes of data storage units. Panzer's work was really my inspiration to start working on stories myself and as I started out as a writing newbie he helped guide me along the ropes of this newfound artistic talent that apparently had been dormant in me this entire time.

t's getting close to a decade since "that night" believe it or not. A lot has transpired since he made the choice to leave this world but this picture of him in his usual yiffy mood is our testament that we haven't forgotten about him, nor will we ever.
