can't remember exactly when I sat down to draw this (it was completed in December), but I sure as hell remember when I used this series of drawings to come out of the closet to my best friend. Luckily for me he was 100% cool with it and actually thought it was interesting. He was also pretty quick to point out that as much as I don't like doing anthro art, I had done it again. I didn't believe him at first but he proved me wrong when he said "look at the gator, he's standing up on 2 legs otherwise the snake wouldn't hang like that." Well, shoot. Joke's on me I guess.

hen I got the inspiration for this I was jotting down ideas of murry things that I'd like to put onto paper one night while the TV was on, and there was some special on snakes on Animal Planet or Discovery Channel or something. Between you and me, "vore" is not really my bag of tricks, but seeing a rattlesnake eat a mouse was inspiration enough for my celebratory "coming out" picture - minus the fangs of course... that would be incredibly painful and unpleasant. Yikes.
