agle-eyed readers might notice that this story features no humans and thus features no herpetophilia, what gives? Bear with me, please - The Infection is very much a guilty pleasure piece for me (not like everything else on this website is as well, haha). If you've stumbled upon my drawing Bizarre Love Triangle you may have picked up the hint that I kind of have a "thing" for tentacles, especially when you toss dragons into the fray. Shut up. Stop laughing at me, that's not nice.

-Snakes were originally created by Chanta-Ra some 10 years ago almost, according to their current #1 fan Snake Wildlife. They were one a niche fad in the furry fandom but now they're simply one of those nice bits of nostalgia that people reflect on. I was extremely late to the C-Snakes party (about 9 years late) so I missed out on the majority of the fun, regardless of that they still piqued my interest though. "Parasitic tentacles" sounded pretty interesting and I got in on them pretty fast, but I wasn't really a fan of the bloody gory business... so in this story I have appropriated them accordingly. I've phased out the icky stuff to the best of my ability without undermining their original theme and in its place bulked up their physical properties, and by that I mean tentacle porn.

opefully this piece turns some heads and the Snakes make a comeback, here's to 10 years of slimy, writhing, probing tentacles! If you've really brushed up on your C-Snakes history you may recognize our unfortunate specimens stumble upon them in a similar way to the original C-Snakes comic. *wink*

" wonder when it's going to rain again..." Dracokon muttered as he glanced up at the cloudless sky while walking along a trail through the trees and brush, branches and twigs snapping under the weight of his feet and hands.

"robably soon," Panzer said a few steps ahead of him, "we're long overdue... and I know how much you like the rain, especially how much you like having fun in it," he added coyly.

racokon glanced away and blushed a bit, the purple scales on his face near his jaw turning a slight tinge of red with the sudden rush of blood. Dracokon and Panzer were both younger and well-built dragons, Panzer born with the elemental gift of ice and Dracokon with logic sharper than any blacksmith's blade. Dracokon's almost nobility-colored purple scales dotted his entire body with the exception of his cream colored belly that all dragons possessed. He had an array of vivid cerulean blue stripes that ran perpendicular to his spine and started from the back of his neck and ran to the tip of his tail. He also had several of these stripes on his forearms and thighs as well. Panzer was slightly older than Dracokon and had a subtle dominance of height to prove the age difference. As an ice dragon his skin was a few shades darker than sky blue; he didn't have any stripes or patterns but the coloration of his scales left a few small hexagon-shaped areas of cerulean blue on his neck and on a few of his joints. Dracokon being somewhat of a normal dragon had only two horns on his head behind the bone of his eyebrows whereas Panzer had those plus a few smaller little spikes poking out from under his horns. Neither dragon belonged to a species that had spines on their backs or spades on their tails; the skin on both of their bodies was smooth to the touch and retained warm temperatures nicely, even if Panzer's was always just a few degrees cooler.

he two dragons were not lovers or a mated couple but rather very close friends, the kind that have "benefits". The occasional murry act of passion was not unknown to the couple, but it wasn't too common either. The two friends were taking a short hike together through a familiar trail that they've known for years; when they were younger the dragons enjoyed games of chase and hide and seek frequently but now that they've matured they merely enjoy a leisurely stroll to enjoy the sights and sounds. As they continued on their walk Panzer noticed ahead of him that a tree had fallen over and landed in the trail.

"t looks like that tremor we had last night must've knocked it over," he said as he stepped over the tree. "Watch your step, Draco."

"hat?" Dracokon said as he pretended to trip over it. Panzer kept walking but Dracokon had stopped to look over where the tree's roots had pulled up from the ground. Something was different about the landscape, something was awry. A few smaller trees had also fallen down along with some of the rocks having been moved around. What caught Dracokon's attention though was the sizeable hole in the ground near where the large tree used to stand. "Hold on, Panzer. Come over here and look at this..." he said.

anzer turned around and walked over to the fallen tree. "What is it?"

racokon stepped into the brush and into one of the small clearings where a natural rock formation had split apart and crumbled. In front of him there was a large rift in the ground. Sunlight was pouring into what looked like an underground tunnel of some kind. "It looks like a tunnel... you think maybe the earthquake ripped it open?"

anzer gazed into the crevice. "It looks like it. I wonder what's down there."

racokon looked the exposed path over once more before jumping down onto the floor. He landed with a resounding thud that bounced off of the rock walls all around him. "There's only one way to find out!"

anzer had his own internal reservations about following Dracokon down there, but he went against his instinct and hopped down as well. "For the record, Dracokon... I have a bad feeling about this. I think we should come down here with more dragons than just you and me..."

racokon laughed. "What's the worse that could happen? Are we going to get cursed or something?"

he two dragons began following the tunnel's path forward since the path going the other way had been sealed shut by rocks and fallen debris; either the earthquake sealed it shut or it simply collapsed in on itself long ago. The walls were made of a very smooth rock that helped amplify light in the area as their journey led them further underground. Dracokon ran his tail along the wall as he walked feeling its cool smooth surface while he kept his attention focused forward. The tunnel eventually terminated and led them into a large room with a tall ceiling and what appeared to be inscriptions or hieroglyphs carved into the walls.

"his is AMAZING!" Dracokon exclaimed as he glanced at the markings that adorned the room. "This must be some kind of ancient temple or something, think of all of the treasure that might be in this place!"

anzer gazed around in awe at the room that he had literally been walking over his entire life. While Dracokon was running around and looking at pieces of broken pots and tablets Panzer had started to study the markings to see if he could make out what any of them were saying. Many of them seemed to be short scenes of deities or simply a line of symbols that Panzer couldn't understand. However one particular scene on the wall left him with a slightly disturbed feeling. "Draco... Draco come over here and look at this carving."

racokon stopped what he was doing and trotted over to Panzer who began to point out specific parts of the picture on the wall. The walls of the room were covered with dragon glyphs, likely from an ancient civilization, from floor to surface. Each panel of glyphs told a story. This scene portrayed what looked to be a dragon with many arms attacking several other dragons while others looked as though they were fleeing. The next glyph showed some dragons fighting the multi-armed beast from the first picture; the beast appeared to be dead on the next panel as one dragon looked as though he was holding up some kind of body part, perhaps a tongue or a liver, while the beast laid at his feet bleeding. The next panel was the last one that Panzer could see because the rest of the wall was damaged and caved in. From what was discernable amongst the damage he pointed out two dragons carrying a decorated ark or a chest of some kind down steps. "I don't know what this scene is about," Panzer said, "but it kind of leaves me with an uneasy feeling. It's the only violent one in here."

racokon shrugged it off in an attempt to reassure Panzer they were safe. "So it's Medusa or something... or one of those silly creationist legends from old civilizations, the kind who worshipped all of those random gods like the one with all the arms... Shiver... Shiva... Snafu or something, right? It's spooky but it's just a story. Come on, there's another tunnel up ahead!"

anzer reluctantly took a few steps backwards from the glyphs and turned to follow Dracokon again. "I really think we should just turn back. What if this is a crypt or something?" Dracokon didn't respond, he just motioned for Panzer to follow and as they trekked through the second tunnel they came to a fork.

"ou wanna go left or should I? I'll let you pick," Dracokon asked.

anzer had a nervous expression on his face. "Can't we just stick together, Dracokon?" He asked back.

"kay... you win," Dracokon replied. "I know you're kinda freaked out by this place... so how about we both just walk as far as we can until we barely see each other and then we just stop and come back, and then we can go. I promise," he said as he took a couple steps over towards Panzer.

anzer glanced down the hallway and turned back to Dracokon with an audible sigh. "Okay, but you promised... just this last thing and no more."

"mm hmm, no more," Dracokon said as he leaned in towards Panzer and gave him a gentle nuzzle on his neck. "If you freak out just run over towards me and we can leave."

racokon started walking down the left hallway while Panzer slowly took a few steps in the opposite direction. He glanced back at Dracokon who was still walking down the corridor. Panzer sighed and started walking down the right hallway. The tunnel wasn't very long; it bent at a right angle into a moderately sized room adorned with more carvings on the walls, some of them portraying the creature from the scene in the large room. Panzer didn't go in. He looked back towards Dracokon who was still visible in the other hallway looking at something on the wall. Panzer looked back at the room and took a few steps in. It was an empty room except for a single rectangular object on the far side of the left wall. Panzer immediately glanced away in fear of it being a tomb or a sarcophagus. A chill ran down his spine as he slowly looked back over at it. It was far too small for the object to be a tomb but it was decorated with carvings and fancy handles and encrusted with what looked like a few precious stones that he could see even through the layer of dust. The lid looked as though it had been jarred somewhat loose, another effect of the quake no doubt. There was a faint purple-ish glow coming from the small visible crack.

anzer cautiously stepped up towards the box, now curious as to what was in it. The box was only about a third as big as his body and was made of the same stone that the walls were carved from. Panzer stepped out of the room to see what Dracokon was up to. He was no longer visible in the hallway, Dracokon had likely been sidetracked by some more artifacts and foolishly went out of the line of sight to go look at them. This infuriated Panzer because Dracokon promised he would remain in view. Panzer's anger was hypocritical and short-lived though; he realized he was just as guilty as Dracokon for turning a corner and for the same reason too.

" bet I found something better than he did," Panzer said as he put his hands on the lid of the chest and started to push it to the side. The lid was made of solid stone and was naturally quite heavy but after a few grunts and heaves Panzer slid it off and pushed it to the side. He looked into the chest and could see that it was nearly full of something, something purple-ish pink. He eyed the substance over before gently dipping his index finger into it and pulling it out. His finger didn't melt off and the excess opaque substance dripped off of his finger like a stringy slime. He rubbed it between his index finger and thumb and found it to be quite slick.

"hat in the hell is this stuff?" Panzer whispered to himself. He leaned in a little bit to see if the substance had a smell. As he leaned in a single small bubble rose to the surface of the liquid and popped. Panzer froze and looked at the surface of the slime. Without warning something shot out like a snake striking its prey and wrapped around Panzer's right arm. Panzer screamed and feverishly tried to pull his arm away from whatever had a grip on it. He barely had a chance to see what it was but he didn't care. Panzer pulled himself away and stumbled backwards a few steps. As he was turning to run away the contents of the box lunged out and wrapped itself around one of his legs, pulling the dragon down onto his stomach.

anzer rolled over onto his back to see what was attacking him. Out from the top of the chest a snakelike appendage almost the same color as the slime had emerged and tightly wrapped itself around Panzer's ankle. The tentacle was dripping with the slime from the box and acted as though it was trying to hold the dragon in a certain position. As he fought against its slippery grip another pink tentacle slowly rose up over the lid of the box almost as if it was able to sense where Panzer was.

"racokon! Help me!" Panzer screamed down the hallway. "Help me! This, this thing has me!" Dracokon was too far away to be within earshot of his call for help.

anzer braced his free leg against the base of the small step the chest was sitting on and used it as leverage to try and push himself away from the grip of the pink creature. His pushing got him nowhere but as his body began to fill with adrenaline he felt himself move forward and thought he was getting free of the creature's hold. He exerted all of his energy into one big push, but didn't get away from the grip of the tentacle. Instead Panzer managed to pull the entire chest from its perch; it tipped forward and spilled its entire contents onto the struggling ice dragon. Panzer screamed as gallons of the slime were dumped onto him along with the entire creature inside of the ark. As he wiped the mess from his eyes and face and frantically tried to strike at the writhing mass of pink tentacles that were now all over him he realized it wasn't one big mass but a collection of individual tentacles that all began to go to work on him.

"racokon! Dracokon!" Panzer called out as the slimy tentacles effortlessly slid across the dragon's skin. "Dracokon! I'm not playing if you're there help me!" His screams for help once again fell on deaf ears.

s he laid on his back trying to throw the long snakelike creatures off of him they merely slithered right back, and they soon began to overwhelm the icy reptile. Much to Panzer's horror the tentacles began to brush up against his vent and his tailhole; he tried to kick them away with his one free leg but they simply came right back. The tentacles began to try and restrain Panzer by wrapping around his arms and his legs. Panzer ushered as much strength as he could to pull one of his arms up to his face and bit into one of the tentacles to try and rip it off of him. As he bit into it the tentacle released a gush of the slime from the box. Panzer choked on the slime and coughed most of it back up. He had ingested some of it though, and that's all that mattered. It began to do its work of sedating its victim.

anzer felt a little lightheaded and began to grow weaker much faster as each tug he made against the tentacles seemed to sap exponentially more energy from him. "Draco... Dracokon..." He called out, almost unable to speak. Panzer tried to roll over and crawl to the door but he had simply grown too weak to try and fight anymore. He was soon out of energy to resist the creatures and his body went limp. He was still conscious and could feel the tentacles as they continued to secure their hold on him. He felt one of them slide against his vent and rather than trying to fight it the sensations began to arouse Panzer; another effect the slime had on his body was its ability to magnify sexual pleasure. The smooth grip the tentacles had on Panzer's arms and legs began to loosen as they slowly began to wind around the dragon's body and slide across his chest and behind his neck. Panzer's member had become fully erect, the tip of which was barely poking out from his vent. The tentacle brushing against his vent now teased the tip of Panzer's member, making him gently moan out in pleasure.

anzer instinctively everted his dragonhood from its sheath and as he did the tentacle slowly began to wrap around it, tickling every inch of it with its smooth texture. Panzer's member gently twitched as the tentacle played with the tip of it. The tentacle slowly began to constrict and release itself on his member while another one slid up along the underside of Panzer's tail and gently probed at his tailhole. Panzer moaned as the tip of the tentacle gently circled his entrance, coating the area with the slimy purple ooze. The tentacle gently pushed itself into Panzer and secreted more of the hypnotizing slime into his cavity as it entered the dragon further. He was aware to an extent that he was still being attacked, but he wanted this pleasure. The slime he had ingested was telling him he wanted it, and he had no choice but to listen. Panzer could feel the tentacle moving around inside of him, the feeling of which was too much to bear. With an arching of his back and a faint grunt Panzer climaxed and released his seed in thick white jets harder than he could ever remember. Each throb of his dragonhood sent a wave of pleasure through his body as the tentacle that was wrapped around it gingerly tightened up around him.
