side from working with a pencil I also enjoy writing fiction about reptiles and dragons. Is it easier to write about them instead of drawing them? You tell me. Both forms of media have their challenges. I draw a lot of my inspiration for my written works from my own dreams and personal fantasies, but it's not unknown to me to take a suggested idea or to get an idea from a movie or video game, of course.

've been experimenting with how to properly list my stories in a coherent manner because now that I have a few stories with multiple installments this chronological order thing just isn't cutting it anymore. I've decided to list them alphabetically (exempting "The" from titles, of course).

Down at the Four Springs Resort visitors can enjoy a spot of golf, a scenic "Windows desktop" lakeside retreat, and promiscuous alligators! Gator Encounter is a tale of zoophilia misadventures, loving interspecies romance, and self-discovery. Originally written in 2008, Gator Encounter was a study of personal fantasies and character development.

Gator Encounter (2008)
In the original (and previously intended as a standalone) installment of the story Dracokon pays a visit to the Four Springs Resort after being coerced into attending an Independence Day party by his friend at work. After checking into the resort and finding his cabin Kon quickly makes a new friend - a gator!

Gator Encounter II (2009)
Six months after the events of Dracokon's first encounter a New Years Eve celebration lures him back to Four Springs with the lingering hopes that his new friend would still be lurking about. After inviting his scaly friend into his warm cabin (it's December!) the two of them check out the sofa's hide-a-bed... and Jim has something to say about it.

The Infection is a story series based upon Shanta-Ra's original C-Snakes literature from the turn of the millennium. C-Snakes are a kind "parasitic tentacle" creature that piqued my interest... and what began as a simple exploration of sexual expression turned into arguably my most successful and well-known story series. It's not as icky as it sounds. Promise.

The Infection (2009)
In the original installment of the story I did my best to keep the plot as close to the original C-Snakes comic as possible. Two dragons, Dracokon and Panzer, venture into a newly discovered ancient crypt underground after an earthquake exposed it to the world. When they split up Panzer discovers a strange jewel-encrusted chest and inadvertently unleashes a strange symbiote...

The Infection II (2010)
Immediately following the events of the first story the two slime-covered carrier dragons decide it would be in the best interest to get cleaned up, and after a little bit of "fun" at the lake they talk about who they're going to spread to next... with Panzer giving Dracokon an idea he doesn't want to go through with.

The Infection III (2010)
The day after Nahara's seeding she discovers the changes in her physiology and invites Dracokon to re-explore her body to see if he can figure out what's different about her. After having a little bit of "tide me over" fun with Nahara's ovipositior Dracokon and Panzer set off to learn more about the history of the Snakes from a friend of theirs and subsequently give him a lesson he won't forget.

The Infection IV (2010)

My genesis. Nocturnal Intermission was my very first venture when I decided to return to writing fiction and other scaly stories back in 2007 so this story has special meaning to me. The warm reception it received is what eventually led me to return to my roots and take up writing as my hobby again.

Nocturnal Intermission (2007)
Inspired by a dream I had this "dream journal turned story" composition tells the story of how an anaconda mysteriously appears in my bed one night and becomes quite friendly. Being my first short story as "Dracokon" it's a little more rough around the edges than most of my other work. For a polished and modernized version please see...

Nocturnal Intermission: Special Edition (2010)
Three years after the release of my first story I decided that it deserved an update, but I didn't want to trash the original in favor of a makeover or make a follow-up chapter to it; instead I rewrote the story to match the kind of quality I am fully capable of and re-issued it as "Special Edition". It's the same story just with a more well-rounded appearance for a nicer experience!

Written towards the tail end of 2008, The Raptor Experiment ended up being my first "runaway success" if you're the kind of person who likes keeping score. Partly inspired by Jurassic Park this story focuses on the creation and experimentation of genetic Utahraptor clones and the events that transpire when a power failure sets them loose on a guided tour group.

The Raptor Experiment (2008)
As a well-read paleontologist "wannabe" Dracokon gets an invitation to a guided tour of a new corporately funded genetic research facility specializing in dinosaurs, however Dracokon has something to say when he discovers they're breaking their own terms and cloning Utahraptors. Before he can make his point the power goes out and the dinosaurs are let loose, and Dracokon survives in the most inappropriate way possible.
